Elizabeth Clegg


Elizabeth was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia on 17 March 2008.

In January 2011, she was admitted as a Barrister in Queensland, and continued to practice exclusively in family law. Elizabeth has appeared in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart and Rockhampton.

Elizabeth is experienced in managing a diverse range of family law matters, including complex property divisions for both matrimonial and de facto relationships. Her expertise covers a broad range of parenting disputes including same-sex parenting matters such as donor agreements and surrogacy.

Elizabeth ensures her clients are provided with clear advice about litigation prospects, and the potential for collaborative outcomes such as mediation and opportunities to negotiate settlements.

Elizabeth has commercial experience within family law including representing trustees in bankruptcy and financial institutions within family law disputes. Her experience in property law, banking roles and extensive experience in litigation provide a strong foundation for managing the resolution of unique family law matters.
